EGOT Award winner John Legend announced his joining the production team for Don't Be Too Proud – A Life and An Age of Temptation. The Tony Award-nominated musical will return on Oct. 16 at the Imperial Theatre.
At the 74th Annual Tony Awards ceremony in 2017, John Legend received a Tony Award along with Jackson as a producer for Gittney.
The singer, who sang "Ordinary People," said: "Performing with these incredible actors is a memory I will cherish forever." "The music of Seduction is at the heart of my personal musical growth and an integral part of the heartbeat of American culture. It's a musical I love and a story I want to share. Supporting and maintaining Broadway at this critical time is very important, and it is an important part of the soul of New York and the entire country. ”
Released on Broadway on March 21, 2019, Don't Be Too Proud received 12 Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, Best Original Screenplay, Best Director, and Best Choreographer.
The national tour will kick off in December this year and will visit more than 50 cities.
