For the Chinese Communists, party history has never been just history itself, but a major political and theoretical issue. Our party is a Marxist political party with a high degree of self-consciousness and good at analyzing problems from a historical perspective; it has always paid attention to using the party's course of struggle and great achievements to inspire fighting spirit and clarify the direction, to use the party's glorious traditions and fine work style to strengthen conviction and gather strength, and to use the party's practice and historical experience to enlighten wisdom and improve character.
Studying history clearly and rationally, increasing credibility in the study of history, revering morality in the study of history, and practicing the study of history are important requirements for the study and education of party history. General Secretary Xi Jinping's important "July 1st" speech provides an important guide for the study and education of party history. In the study and education of party history, we must "clearly understand" the "principles" contained in the century-old party history with the great rejuvenation of the nation as the theme of struggle; "increase trust" from the great achievements made by the party in its hundred years of struggle and their profound basis; "revere" the "morality" revealed by the great spirit of party building; and "practice" the basic experiences and basic requirements summed up in the party's history.
