This year marks the 20th anniversary of the promulgation and implementation of the Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance, as well as the second anniversary of the pilot project on occupational injury protection for employees in new forms of employment. Recently, the Xuhui District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau launched a centralized publicity day for work-related injury insurance, focusing on the participation of employees in new forms of employment in occupational injury protection, further popularizing work-related injury insurance laws and regulations and pilot policies for occupational injury protection, and enhancing the awareness of employers, platform enterprises and workers to know the law and abide by the law and the ability to prevent work-related injuries.
At the event site, publicity and popularization of occupational injury protection and work-related injury insurance policies were carried out in the form of placing publicity display boards, posting posters, playing videos, and carrying out on-site consultations, so as to achieve "face-to-face" safety publicity and "zero distance" policy consultation. During the event, the relevant departments gave detailed answers to the questions that new employment practitioners such as takeaways and couriers and the masses on the scene were concerned about.
The reporter noticed a lot of delivery people. Wang Wenwen, a delivery worker who has worked in Xuhui for nearly five years, carefully read the promotional materials, and told reporters: "I was not particularly clear about the policies of work-related injury insurance and occupational injury before, but when I saw this activity today, I wanted to come and learn about it, so that I would have more confidence in my future work." Another delivery person, Xiao Li, also expressed his opinion: "When we deliver takeaways, we often encounter various road conditions and weather conditions, and the risk of injury is not small. Today, through the explanation of the staff, I have a deeper understanding of the identification of occupational injuries and work-related injury insurance policies, and I feel that the protection for flexible employees is more in place, and I really hope to hold more such activities in the future. ”
Work-related injury insurance is a "safety net" and "talisman" for workers. Through such publicity activities, the concept of work-related injury prevention and safety knowledge are delivered to front-line workers, providing a solid guarantee for the work-related injury insurance rights and interests of the majority of workers, and helping to reduce the occurrence of work-related injuries and occupational injury accidents. The Xuhui District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau will continue to strengthen the publicity and popularization of work-related injury insurance policies and regulations, continuously improve the awareness of work-related injury insurance policies, and optimize work-related injury insurance services, so that every worker can enjoy due protection while working hard.
