Reference News Network reported on July 6 that according to Agence France-Presse Washington on July 5, US media reported that Richard Donner, a prolific filmmaker who had directed the first "Superman" movie and other popular blockbusters such as "Seven Treasures" and other popular blockbusters, died on July 5 at the age of 91.
Donner's other credits include the 1987 cop film Lethal Weapon starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover and 2006's Brave 16 Blocks. (Compiler/Wei Xiaohui)
