On July 5, Jiangle County held the 2024 on-site meeting on the promotion of key technologies for the whole process of mechanization of hybrid rice seed production in Dali Village, Bailian Town, with more than 100 people from agricultural machinery, agricultural technology extension personnel, and large seed producers from various townships and towns participating.
At about 9 o'clock in the morning, in the high-yield grain base of thousands of acres in Dali, Bailian Town, 8 high-speed rice transplanting machines of different styles shuttled back and forth in the field, and in less than 20 minutes, each machine completed the task of transplanting more than one acre.

A machine can be inserted about 30 acres a day, an acre costs 100 yuan, and manual insertion costs nearly 400 yuan.
In the face of the problems of high labor costs, old labor force and low efficiency in the process of seed production, Jiangle County has launched the key technology of mechanization of hybrid rice seed production, from seedling raising, machine transplanting, to the development of mechanized social services, and then to the integration of hybrid rice seed production base construction, and constantly expand and extend the demonstration and promotion of mechanized seed production technology throughout the process, so as to provide new technical support for the development of the seed production industry.

Up to now, the rice seed production area recorded in our county is about 31,000 mu, 30% of which are planted by the whole process of seed production, and the basic seedlings can increase the yield by 10% to 15%.
