Half of the scallops come from Hainan, but in recent years they have started exporting scallops to Southeast Asian countries in order to make a bigger profit.
However, what is not well known is that Japan wants to borrow the waters of Vietnam, but in order to prevent the rejection of impure water, Japan has whitewashed the scallops that China has rejected.
Japanese scallops are exported to Southeast Asia.
Originally, Japan's main exporter of scallops was China, but scallops were more common on the table on the mainland, but as the rate of scallop imports from the mainland has decreased year by year, the rate at which scallops occupy the international market has also decreased.
In this way, Japan gradually became dissatisfied, and in order to make greater profits, it set its sights on its neighbors on the mainland, Southeast Asian countries.
However, the species diversity in the waters between Southeast Asian countries and Japan is relatively small, so the inhabitants of these Southeast Asian countries have relatively few types of seafood, so scallops are very popular there.
And because scallops are originally a specialty food of the mainland, in Japan's view, "the food that Chinese can eat can certainly be eaten by themselves", so a large number of scallops imported from Southeast Asian countries have increased, and the number is increasing.
Southeast Asian countries are also very fond of seafood from the mainland, so after obtaining seafood from the mainland, they stuffed the amount of seafood in their country to the mainland.
However, in mainland China, there has never been a single Japanese ingredient that is more sought-after, so many people wonder if Japanese ingredients have been laundered in the process of exporting to Southeast Asian countries.
Why are scallops exported from China laundered and sold to other countries by Japan?
In fact, Japanese scallops are indeed whitewashed in the process of exporting to Southeast Asian countries, and the origin of these scallops is the city of Wuhan, China, and these scallops are actually those that do not meet the export standards.
Originally, Wuhan was the largest port for the import and export of scallops, but in 2019, due to the outbreak of the epidemic, it was suddenly blocked, so many of them could not be sold at that time.
However, although the scallops in Wuhan could not be sold at the time, they did not become waste because they could not be sold, so some of the scallops were pickled, and these pickled scallops were originally sold to Western European countries.
In the process of preparing to transport scallops to Western European countries, an epidemic broke out again in Wuhan, and even Japan, which originally wanted to export scallops, refused to export scallops from Wuhan, so Chinese scallops piled up again.
But while the Chinese scallops were completely piled up, the Japanese scallops were almost sold out, so Japan made a windfall, but still wanted to import at least one more batch of scallops from China, which could not fit the scallops.
However, it was impossible for China to sell Japanese scallops to them in this way, so Japan washed the scallops and sold them before selling, and the scallops from the mainland were gradually sold from Japan.
Japan also took this opportunity to open a huge scallop import order to the mainland, but the number of scallops exported to Japan by the mainland that year was not too large, so it chose to test the unstuffed scallops to see if they could meet the export standards.
However, after testing, the scallops did meet the export standards, but it was puzzling why the scallops could not be sold when the number of scallops exported that year had increased dramatically.
Until one of the Japanese cultural festivals, in order to better promote Japan, he personally transported the pictures of the photo exhibition to the mainland, but during the photo exhibition, the eyes of the mainlanders were attracted by one of the pictures.
Why are scallops not exported in Japan after water quality testing?
In this photo, a man is holding Japanese scallops in his hand, and these scallops have not been washed in any way, and there is a lot of red substance in these scallops, but what is the red substance stained?
Later, after testing, the red substance turned out to be the crushed product of sea cucumbers, and the sea cucumbers in them belonged to the sea cucumbers that the state banned from importing and exporting, so that Japan could not export them from the mainland.
But how do these sea cucumber crushed products get on the scallops, in fact, the reason is very simple: the scallop breeding facilities in Japan are the same as those in China.
However, when importing and exporting sea cucumbers from the mainland, they are tested many times, so it is impossible to crush this sea cucumber and let it enter the body of the scallops, but Japan can, so Japanese scallops cannot be exported to the mainland.
And why Japanese scallops have sea cucumber crushed into the body, simply put, because Japan imports and exports sea cucumbers will go through very strict testing, and the standard of testing is to see whether the taste of sea cucumber is under normal conditions.
When scallops are eaten, there will be a variety of abnormal flavors in the body, and it is the job of professionals to judge these tastes, so Japan can wash these scallops and sell them to other countries.
epilogue
But that's not the worst of all, as Japan has chosen to bring these scallops to Vietnam's rivers in order to make a bigger profit, and Vietnam's rivers are tested for the same abnormal taste as our domestic rivers.
Therefore, there are often professional personnel to carry out the test to reduce their own losses, but for Japan this is just a piece of cake, because they have other tricks.
That is to let the professional judge the taste of the river, but there is a certain gap between the nose of the Vietnamese and their taste, so it is impossible to tell whether the taste is abnormal or not.
