On July 3, the breeding and release of 10,000,000 million fish in Fuzhou (Yongtai Dazhangxi) - 100 enterprises to protect the ecology of the Minjiang River was successfully held in the "one gate and three lines" Jukou sluice in Dazhangxi, Yongtai County.

On the side of Dazhang Creek, the sun is shining, and bags of fish fry are lined up one after another, shining golden in the sun. Dazhang River is the largest tributary of the lower reaches of the Minjiang River, and it is an important measure to improve the ecological environment of the waters of Dazhangxi and Minjiang River, especially the filter-feeding fish such as bighead carp and silver carp (mainly feeding on plankton) can play a role in ecological restoration of fish raising water, saving water with fish, and treating water with fish, so that the masses can drink "assured water".
Chen Chao, general manager of Fuzhou Yihai Meat Swallow Co., Ltd., the president unit of Fuzhou Meat Swallow Association, read out the proposal: advocate scientific and civilized breeding and release, carry out breeding and release in accordance with the law, scientifically and reasonably, and ensure the diversity of aquatic organisms and the balance of water ecosystems; Advocate enterprises to play a leading role in demonstration, jointly help the protection of the water ecological environment, and jointly care for the construction of the water ecological environment; Advocate enterprises to demonstrate their responsibility and contribute to the protection of fishery resources and the improvement of the ecological environment.
Since 2022, Fuzhou has pioneered the ecological brand of "10,000,000 people and 100,000,000 fish in the province" (10,000,000 people participate in and release 100 million fish fry), and has carried out 50 series of activities to increase and release stocks, and a total of about 2.8 billion fish (grains) of sea and freshwater seedlings such as Japanese shrimp, red sea bream, black sea bream, and large yellow croaker have been released, ranking among the top in the province.
