According to statistics, there are 170,000 garment enterprises in the mainland, with a total output of more than 70 billion pieces of garments and about 20 million employees in the whole industry. In 2023, the total sales of clothing in the domestic market will be 4.5 trillion yuan, and exports will be 159.1 billion US dollars. China is the world's largest apparel producer, exporter and consumer market with huge space.
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the mainland garment industry has closely focused on the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee, fully implemented the new development concept, accelerated the construction of a new development pattern, and actively promoted high-quality development.
Over the years, the apparel industry has focused on industrial transformation and upgrading, kinetic energy conversion and high-quality development, and continued to improve the fashion experience and meet consumer demand. The core of the construction of the garment industry is to develop new quality productivity and rejuvenate the industry.
