As soon as Wu Lianfeng's voice fell, she received a notice from the village: The Xinxiang Municipal Finance Bureau, a support unit in Beiguan Village, has just sent a batch of thick quilts, and each household can go to the compound of the village committee with the household registration book to collect it.

"What a god! How did they know what was missing in my family? Wu Lianfeng said.

In fact, the help team came for 22 days, and such "miracles" were done one after another: at the beginning, the village was full of garbage mountains, which were moved one by one; tired of eating instant noodles, small bread, rice noodle oil was sent to the home; corn and peanuts in the field were all "soaked", and the mung bean seeds needed for replanting were sent for free...

Wu Lianfeng told reporters: "The help team I thought of was done, and the help team I didn't expect also thought of it for me!" ”

But some time ago, Wu Lianfeng was not so optimistic.

Beiguan Village is located in the flood storage area, during the flood situation, the deepest water in the village is more than 3 meters. All 800 houses in the village have been overwatered, all farmland has been harvested, and the fish ponds have been lost.

On August 3, before the water receded, Wu Lianfeng eagerly returned home, saw that the furniture, food, clothes, and beds were all soaked in water, and cried out on the spot: "The good home is all over, this day should be over!" ”

Li Leixin, secretary of the party branch of Beiguan Village, has also secretly been "pessimistic": the water discharged from the village is not as much as flowing from the surrounding areas, and the garbage that is cleared out is not as much as the masses continue to throw out. The drier everyone is, the cooler it gets.

Just then, "foreign aid" came.

On August 5, the Xinxiang Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government made a decision to support Weihui City in accelerating post-disaster reconstruction, and sent 6 working groups to Weihui; the municipal units formed 58 task forces to carry out "one-on-one" assistance in 58 hard-hit villages in the flood storage area.

The Xinxiang Municipal Finance Bureau of Beiguancun quickly set up a forward working group and a logistics coordination and support group. After on-the-spot investigation and judgment, the help team came up with a package of support plans from drainage and drainage, garbage removal, environmental disinfection, water, electricity, ventilation, and restoration of agricultural production.

There was too much water, and the help team borrowed a "dragon suction" and a supporting 100-kilowatt mobile power station, and also purchased 5 pumps to pump the accumulated water day and night. The alleys in the village are too narrow, and the large-scale cleaning equipment is not good, so the garbage is pulled out of the village by running horse-drawn carriage first, and then the hook machine, forklift, and large transport vehicle are used to concentrate on cleaning and transportation.

There are not enough manpower, the volunteer service team of the Municipal Finance Bureau has dispatched more than 120 person-times to the village to help clean up, spray and kill, carry materials, and also sent 300 bags of rice, 300 bags of flour, 300 barrels of cooking oil, 500 bottles of bottled water, 3,000 quilts, 800 boxes of food...

The "mess" that once made the villagers "big" quickly cleaned up, and the pessimism that lingered in Beiguan Village disappeared. "If there is no help team, if the village wants to restore normal living order, it will take at least a month!" Li Leixin said.

Feng Hui, secretary of the party leading group of the Xinxiang Municipal Finance Bureau, said that the task of rebuilding the homeland is heavy and the road is long, and the support team will insist on "helping the masses as much as they need" and will never collect troops unless they win a complete victory.

The story of Beiguan Village's help is staged in Weihui's 58 hardest-hit villages. Up to now, all these villages have been connected to water and electricity, all villagers have moved back, and the order of production and life is steadily restored.
