Disney's new work focuses on founder Walt Disney's story of the origins of the park

Disney was making a movie about founder Walt Disney building Disneyland, which would be released on Disney+. The film was directed by David Gordon Green, director of the new version of Moonlight Panic, with Evan Spirio Toplos (Beauty and the Beast) as the writer.

The world's first Disney theme park opened on July 17, 1955 in California, usa, and Walt Disney wanted it to be "a source of joy and inspiration for the world." At present, there are 6 Disney parks in the world.

Disney's last film focusing on its founder was 2013's Big Dreamer, in which Tom Hanks played Walt Disney.
