At 10 o'clock in the morning, the emergency escape and evacuation drill officially began, the students in the teacher and fire rescue personnel under the command, quickly acted, the students one hand to protect the head, one hand to cover the mouth and nose, bending down and low posture forward, the students in accordance with the detailed planning of the escape route in an orderly manner, each classroom, corridor and stairs have clear signs, guide them towards the safety exit quickly run to the playground and other safe areas, the whole drill process is orderly, the participants cooperate with each other tacitly, and achieve the expected drill effect. "When extinguishing a fire, pay attention to the wind direction, control the extinguishing distance, and spray the root of the flame." After the students arrived at the safe area, the fire propagandist demonstrated the use of portable dry powder fire extinguishers through on-site teaching and practical operation, and everyone actively participated in and interacted with each other, which not only deepened their understanding of fire safety knowledge, but also mastered the basic skills of escape and fire extinguishing. During the period, the firefighters also led the students of Class 2 (3) to ride the ladder truck to intuitively feel the atmosphere of being trapped in a high-rise building and on-site rescue.
In the next step, the brigade will also take the "Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Publicity Week" as an opportunity to carry out a series of disaster prevention and mitigation safety knowledge popularization activities in various campuses, enterprises, institutions, communities and other places in the jurisdiction to improve the public's fire safety awareness and self-defense and self-rescue capabilities.
