Whether it is a beach-rushing landing exercise or a helicopter cross-sea assault exercise, who is the "imaginary enemy" targeted? A time-point analysis is required. On 20 May, Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Chairman Lai Ching-te will take office as the leader of the Taiwan region.
Lai Qingde, a self-proclaimed "pragmatic Taiwan independence worker," once vainly claimed that "Taiwan is already a sovereign and independent country, and there is no need to declare Taiwan independence," and continued Tsai Ing-wen's proposal that "the two sides of the strait are not subordinate to each other." If such a diehard "Taiwan independence" element takes office, the risk factor for peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and even in the region will rise sharply.
On the eve of Lai Qingde's inauguration, the PLA held a drill to deter the "Taiwan independence" forces and make them dare not take a step beyond the thunder pool. At the same time, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) has released a clear and clear signal that the sharp blade will be unsheathed at any time to slash "Taiwan independence."
