"Spring and summer are the busiest time for our cooperative, and all members are busy roasting tea from morning to night." Chen Hanwu, president of Tangtian Tea Professional Cooperative, said that the cooperative received 190,000 catties of green leaves this year.
Tangtian Village has a high altitude and low average annual temperature, and the tea trees here grow on the high mountains at an altitude of 700 to 800 meters, and the tea produced is of good quality. Many years ago, Chen Hanwu united four farmers in the village to establish Tangtian Tea Professional Cooperative, investing more than 2 million yuan to build a large-scale roasted tea production base and realize the development of individual roasted tea households.
"From individuals to cooperatives, whether it is capital, equipment or venues, the overall comprehensive strength has been greatly improved, and the benefits obtained by farmers are naturally 'rising tides'." Chen Hanwu said that in addition to processing and selling tea, the cooperative also cooperates with surrounding tea farmers to purchase tea from cooperative farmers at a price higher than the market, which solves the worries of tea farmers.
In Chen Fuliang's own tea workshop in Tangtian Village, there is also a scene of roasted tea in full swing. Since this year's tea picking and processing, Chen Fuliang has processed more than 2,000 catties of dry tea, which is favored by customers in Shandong, Hangzhou and other places.
Chen Fuliang is a big roasted tea farmer in Tangtian Village. Over the years, with his dedication and love for tea, he has continued to study the technology of roasted tea, designed his own packaging, and taken the road of high-quality sales. "Tea like this with high-end packaging, a box of 1 kg of tea gift box, can be sold for 680 yuan, and the added value of the product has increased by about 20%."
The fragrance of tea overflowed in the house, and the joy of harvest poured into Chen Fuliang's heart. "At present, the dried tea produced has been sold out, and even the tea leaves that I keep for drinking at home have been bought by customers 'soft grinding and hard brewing'." Chen Fuliang said that during this season when tea is on the market, he will continue to fry a batch of dry tea to meet the purchase needs of more customers.
