However, the Chinese side had already seen the traitor, and dispatched several coast guard ships to closely monitor Scarborough Shoal a day in advance.
According to former U.S. Air Force officer Ray Powell, at least four Chinese coast guard ships and 26 large maritime militia ships have been on standby in the area, forming an impregnable blockade.
