At two o'clock in the afternoon, when the sun was fierce, the reporter came to the Yuhaitang River Crab Base in Sanxing Town, Chongming District, and saw that the staff was replacing batteries and loading feed for the drone. Accompanied by the strong humming sound of the paddles, this "big guy" full of science and technology soared into the air, flying over the crab pond and putting feed along the set route. In just three or four minutes, the feeding work of a crab pond of more than ten acres was completed.
"The operation is very simple and clear, the flight path and altitude can be set by yourself, and the obstacle avoidance function is also very intelligent." Gu Xin, a drone pilot and a technician of Yuhaitang Agricultural Machinery Company, told reporters that the drone in front of him is DJI's most advanced T60 agricultural drone, which is easy to operate, reliable in performance and highly intelligent, and can be fed up to 50-60 kg of feed each time. This model can not only be used in aquaculture, but also widely used in rice field pesticide and other fields, "compared with manual work, its operation efficiency has been improved by leaps and bounds." ”

The Yuhaitang base is one of the main breeding bases of Chongming River Crab Group, and the adult crabs produced are of high quality and good taste, and have always been loved by citizens inside and outside the island. Due to the good benefits, this year, the Yuhaitang base further expanded the scale of river crab breeding, through the integration and transformation of the idle crab ponds of the surrounding retail households, the total area of river crab breeding has reached 380 acres.
From the beginning of this year to the beginning of March, the Yuhaitang base has put more than 7,300 catties of "Chongming No. 1" high-quality buckle crabs into 380 acres of crab ponds, and through the "shed pond linkage" method, the buckle crabs have been strengthened in the greenhouse, and then moved to the outer pond after molting the shell one time in advance, about a month earlier than other bases. The high-quality compound feed fed by the base is rich in protein, which fully meets the growth needs of river crabs. At present, the clear water crabs in the base are growing well, and some individuals have reached more than 2 taels.
It is understood that "Chongming No. 1" is a characteristic provenance cultivated by Chongming and Shanghai Ocean University, and from the actual performance of Xiatang, its seedling vitality is relatively strong, the survival rate is high, and it is very suitable for growing in Chongming waters. After growing up, the "Chongming No. 1" river crab has the excellent characteristics of the Chinese mitten crab in the Yangtze River water system, with a green back and white belly, a slender body, a plump fat and a slightly sweet mouth, and excellent quality.
In late May, the "Chongming No. 1" river crab is about to usher in its third molt (calculated from the time it is put into the crab pond), which is also an important juncture in its growth process. In the past few days, the Yuhaitang base has strengthened the water quality monitoring and aquatic weed management of the crab pond, and ensured that "Chongming No. 1" grows in the most suitable environment by increasing the oxygen content of the water body. The District Aquatic Technology Extension Station will also combine the successful experience of the Yuhaitang Base to continue to guide the main body of river crab breeding to apply new agricultural technology to ensure that the "Chongming No. 1" river crab with tender and yellow meat and excellent taste will be presented to the public in the golden autumn season. At the same time, the base catches river crabs in small batches in various crab ponds, and plans to launch special "soft shell crab" products to the market in its shelling stage.
"The soft-shell crab is not big, but it is also nutritious, and the taste is loved by many diners." Wang Liuzhong said that this year is the first time that the Yuhaitang base has explored soft-shell crab products, and it is not only interested in considerable added value, but also the regulation and control of the breeding density of river crabs in its production process, "I hope that with the help of soft-shell crab products, the general public can taste the delicious taste of 'Chongming No. 1' in advance." ”
