On May 13, a former employee of Li Yapeng's company posted on social media that Li Yapeng's company was in arrears of wages and did not pay employees social security. On the morning of the 14th, Li Yapeng responded through a video saying that the netizen left in the spring of 2024, and the company still owes the other party about 60,000 yuan in compensation. Li Yapeng promised that the company would solve this problem before getting off work on the 14th. In addition, Li Yapeng also said in the video that after more than a year, 90% of the compensation has been paid to the departing employees.
The reporter noted that on October 30, 2018, Li Yapeng and his brother Li Yawei's Lijiang Snow Mountain Company reached a business partnership with Taihe Youlian Company (Party B), with Party B injecting 60 million yuan, and the two sides jointly completed the development of the "Lijiang Snow Mountain Wenyuan" project. In July 2015, a dispute arose between the two parties over the "fixed equity income" in the contract, with an amount of RMB 40 million. On March 16, 2021, the Beijing Chaoyang District People's Court made a retrial judgment in this case, in which Li Yapeng and his brother Li Yawei paid 40 million yuan and interest to Beijing Taihe Youlian Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Taihe Youlian Company"), rejecting other claims of Taihe Youlian Company.

In April 2023, Li Yapeng and his brother Li Yawei added a new information on the person subject to execution, with an enforcement target of 40 million yuan, involving a contract dispute case, and the enforcement court is the People's Court of Chaoyang District, Beijing.
On April 28, 2023, Li Yapeng responded to the matter on social media, saying that he had agreed on a repayment plan with the other company. He said that the difficulties facing him now are far more than these 40 million. "Paying off debts and paying for your mistakes is a matter of course, and there is no need to say more."
