In recent years, the Yangjiashanli Demonstration Area has adhered to the development concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", based on the resource endowment of Yangjiashanli, and has embarked on a road of rural revitalization with ecological priority, red inheritance, and integrated development of agriculture, culture and tourism, and has been selected as one of the top ten municipal rural revitalization demonstration areas in Qingdao in 2022, and has been awarded the first place in the comprehensive evaluation of municipal demonstration areas for three consecutive quarters in 2023. In 2023, the Yangjiashanli Demonstration Area will receive a total of 600,000 tourists, with a tourism income of 140 million yuan, a collective average income of more than 300,000 yuan in natural villages, and a per capita income of 37,000 yuan for villagers.

Yangjiashanli Demonstration Area is located in the central hinterland of the West Coast New Area, within the "half-hour traffic circle" of the main urban area of the new area, 15 minutes' drive from Qingdao West Railway Station, 10 minutes' drive from Shenhai Expressway Tieshan Toll Station, and 341 National Highway runs through the territory.
In recent years, the Yangjiashanli Demonstration Area has seized the opportunity of Shandong Province to build a model of rural revitalization in Qilu, superimposed the dual advantages of the rural revitalization demonstration area at the municipal and district levels, promoted it at a high level, implemented precise policies, comprehensively sorted out and revitalized resources such as wasteland, idle land, abandoned courtyards, and collective construction land, and successively promoted the landing, starting, construction and commissioning of 34 projects such as Qicheng Yueji Flower Valley, Wubi Garden, Daxiazhuang B&B, and Shanli Qi Street, and fully stimulated the development potential.

The Yangjiashanli Demonstration Area is rich in natural resources, agricultural resources, cultural and tourism resources, etc., with the integration of production and marketing, the integration of agriculture, culture and tourism, the large space for industrial value-added and efficiency, and the strong foundation for industrial development.
The demonstration area gives full play to the excellent natural conditions and unique sandy loam soil advantages, leverages all kinds of capital of 600 million yuan, cultivates 5,000 acres of cherries, 1,000 acres of tea and other characteristic advantageous industries according to local conditions and standardization, and builds 24 100-mu industrial parks such as cherries, tea, blueberries and chestnuts in the whole industry chain, accelerates the formation of advantageous industrial clusters, and launches a number of "native products" of "excellent breeding, original flavor", and creates 5 provincial-level local industry famous villages, 2 municipal-level "one village, one product" demonstration villages. 2 municipal-level well-known agricultural product brands, more than 500 farmers have achieved an annual income increase of 10 million yuan through group development.
At the same time, we will comprehensively expand the diversified rural formats such as agricultural experience, leisure and health care, homestay sojourn, popular science research, sightseeing photography, and night economy, and strengthen and optimize the ten "township" brands such as rural tourism, rural learning, and rural accommodation. Relying on the resources of the whole region, we will develop three high-quality tourism routes: the original hometown historical and cultural line, the red cultural tourism experience line, and the original hometown ecological experience line, and launch the tourism brand of "Yangjiashan Plain Mountain and Original Water" with the all-season tourism model of "viewing cherry blossoms in spring, visiting the sea of flowers in summer, tasting fruits in autumn, and enjoying snow fun in winter".

Inherit the cultural context and empower rural development
The Yangjiashanli Demonstration Area has a long history, profound heritage, and rich cultural resources, and is well-known for its three major cultural brands: Red Culture, Qi Great Wall Culture, and Rural Film and Television Culture.
Yangjiashanli is a well-known old revolutionary area, and the demonstration area has deeply excavated red resources, and built the first comprehensive red education base in the West Coast New Area with the theme of "mission responsibility", focusing on the education of party members and cadres, and covering all walks of life - Yangjiashanli Red Education Base, which has received more than 2,700 sessions and nearly 300,000 people to receive revolutionary baptism.
Qi Great Wall Cultural Center
On the basis of scientific restoration and global protection of the style of the Great Wall of Qi, the demonstration area highlights the living inheritance, and the first cultural center of the Great Wall of Qi in China has been built at the foot of the Great Wall of Qi. Connecting resources such as the Great Wall of Qi Yueji Flower Valley, Wubi Garden, Yueji Mountain Ice and Snow World, and Daxiazhuang Folk Street along the line to create a cultural tourism belt of the Great Wall of Qi.
At the same time, the development idea of "Rural Film and Television Base in Lucid Waters and Green Mountains" was tailored for Houshigou Village, and more than 20 film and television works such as "Warm Taste", a key repertoire of poverty alleviation by the State Administration of Radio and Television, were successively introduced to shoot and film, and were rated as Qingdao Rural Tourism Characteristic Village, realizing the beautiful "butterfly change".
In the next step, the Yangjiashanli area will take the approval of the creation of the third batch of Qilu Model Provincial Demonstration Zones for Rural Revitalization as a new starting point, anchor the goal of building a first-class rural revitalization demonstration area in the country, and make every effort to create a new situation of strengthening villages and enriching the people.
