A few days ago, the fourth phase of the third season of "Mr. Big's Lounge" entered the Shanghai private Xinfu Junior High School, and invited Pan Nini, associate professor of the School of Communication of East China Normal University, doctor of political science, researcher of international politics and political culture, and Yu Liang, researcher of the Institute of China Studies of Fudan University, to give a lecture on the theme of "Middle-aged Lu Xun: Revolutionary Chinese New Art - The First Step Out of the World" to all teachers and students of the school.

1927 Lu Xun and Wang Wenyan, manager of Uchiyama Memorial Bookstore, introduced that this was the first time that the "Mr. Big Lounge" series of cultural lectures was held out of the bookstore. Shanghai Xinfuxing Junior High School and 1927 Lu Xun and Neishan Memorial Bookstore are on North Sichuan Road, and they are "neighbors" across Tianai Road. Since the opening of the bookstore, it has become a place frequented by students, and the school also organizes reading activities for students. In late April, the school and the bookstore were successfully paired, and Shanghai Xinfuxing Junior High School hired three staff members of the bookstore to become "off-campus counselors" to participate in the school's "big ideological and political course" series of activities.

Shanghai Xinfu Junior High School is a member school of the Ideological and Political Integration Base School Group led by Fuxing Senior High School. Feng Sell, a first-year junior high school student, said. Previously, she read Mr. Lu Xun's essay collection "Morning Flowers and Sunset", and this semester in the Chinese textbook and learned one of them "A Chang and the Classic of Mountains and Seas", plus after listening to today's lecture, Feng decided to read "Morning Flowers and Sunset" again.
"I always thought that Mr. Lu Xun's literary works only had a great influence on the Chinese people, and after listening to the introduction of the lecturer today, I learned that he is also very well-known in Japan and South Korea. A sense of national pride and cultural self-confidence swelled in my heart. ”
During the lecture, the keynote speaker shared a story about Lu Xun by Japanese Nobel Prize winner Kenzaburo Oe, which left a deep impression on Zhao Xiangyue, a second-year junior high school student.
Shanghai Xinfuxing Junior High School said that as an important part of the "big ideological and political course" in Hongkou, the "walk-in" of the "Mr. Big Lounge" series of cultural lectures has enriched and broadened the school's "first ideological and political classroom".
It is reported that the "Mr. Big Lounge" series of cultural lectures is guided by the Propaganda Department of the Hongkou District Committee of the Communist Party of China, jointly organized by the Hongkou District Press, Publication and Film Management Office, and Shanghai Xinhua Media Chain Co., Ltd., to deeply excavate Lu Xun's red imprint in Hongkou. Since its opening in January 2023 at the 1927 Lu Xun & Uchiyama Memorial Bookstore, the "Mr. Big's Lounge" has gone through two seasons and held a total of 10 offline lectures. On April 21 this year, "Mr. Big's Lounge" ushered in its third season.
