In order to welcome the "National Low Carbon Day", recently, a low-carbon environmental protection orienteering competition was held in Liangcheng Xincun Street. The organizers hope to raise the public's awareness of environmental protection through fun competitions, so that the concept of low-carbon life will be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
Different from the traditional orienteering competition, this competition not only tests the physical fitness and intelligence of the participants, but also emphasizes the practice of low-carbon environmental protection. Participants need to choose their own low-carbon travel methods, such as cycling, walking, etc., and visit three locations in turn, including Liangsi Wisteria Hanging Garden, Liangwu Habitat Garden, and Fudan Neighborhood Committee Garden, according to the designated route map, and complete the low-carbon and environmental protection interactive tasks at the points.
In addition to the competition itself, the low-carbon environmental protection orienteering competition also incorporates a variety of interesting elements. Participants can participate in eco-friendly handicraft activities, make unique artworks out of waste items, and write their wishes for low-carbon environmental protection on the wish board.
Participants said that the competition made them realize the importance of low-carbon living and how to practice low-carbon concepts in their daily lives.
