The one-month "National Security Education Exhibition" will end on May 15. As of 13 May, the exhibition has attracted more than 56,000 visitors and more than 198,500 views on the thematic website.
The 7th National Security Education Exhibition, jointly organized by the Macao SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, was unveiled on 15 April 2024, the ninth National Security Education Day in mainland China. The fifth part of the exhibition is themed "Promoting the Tradition of Patriotism and Loving Macao, Sharing the Responsibility for National Security", and is divided into several chapters, including "Persistently Carrying out National Security Publicity and Education" and "Patriotic Education Activities Carried out by Central Government Institutions and Chinese-funded Enterprises in Macao". "Deepen national security publicity and education and carry forward the spirit of patriotism and love for Macao".
Since 2018, the Macao SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao have continued to hold the "National Security Education Exhibition", which has further strengthened the national security awareness and patriotism of all sectors of society.
In terms of patriotic education, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao, the Foreign Affairs Office, and the Macao Garrison have continued to enhance the patriotic enthusiasm of all sectors of Macao society by organizing various forms of patriotic education activities. At the same time, in terms of national security publicity and education, the HKSAR Government, together with all sectors of the community, has continued to carry out various types of national security publicity and education activities to enhance the public's responsibility for safeguarding national security.
The National Security Education Exhibition is open to the public free of charge from 10am to 8pm every day during the exhibition period. The exhibition also features a dedicated website (https://eesn.gov.mo) for public viewing, with a virtual booth for 360-degree viewing, allowing visitors to experience the exhibition as if they were in person.
