On May 14, Xi'an University of Science and Technology issued a briefing. The content of the circular is as follows:
Previously reported: Recently, the revision of grades by students of Xi'an University of Science and Technology has aroused concern and heated discussions. An associate professor and master's supervisor at Xi'an University broke the news to the media that he was threatened by his parents for refusing to revise the grades of a student surnamed Chen, and the college put pressure on him. Later, when the college took the make-up examination for the course, bypassed him, the full-time teacher, and replaced the questioner and marker, the student surnamed Chen passed the make-up examination, but another student surnamed Wang did not pass, and the handwritten score of the student surnamed Wang was finally increased from 56 points to 60 points "as appropriate" after the college staff member Zhang Moumou issued a handwritten score modification explanation. According to the tutor, the parents of the above-mentioned students surnamed Chen claimed to be researchers at a research institute, and because the child was studying for a bachelor's and master's degree, the failure of the grades would affect his future, and asked to revise the grades for the child. The parent once said, "I will make the actual situation clear, if you can't do it, I will definitely go to the school to make trouble with you." "I have something to do with a teacher at your school."
