Li Bo, 37, a native of Neijiang, Sichuan, has been engaged in watermelon cultivation since he was 18 years old, accumulating experience and learning techniques.
In 2019, Li Bo began to transfer 110 acres of land in Shiling Village for large-scale planting. This year marks his 18th year of growing watermelons.

"Since May 9, it has been listed, and about 7,500 kilograms have to be sold to Neijiang, Jianyang and other parts of the province every day, and the benefits are okay. "We don't have to worry about the sales of watermelons, and customers will choose me after comparison."
The large-scale planting of watermelons not only allowed Li Bo to obtain industrial income, but also drove the surrounding villagers to increase their income on the spot.
It is reported that there are more than 30 villagers working in the base all year round, and the resident workers can get a salary of about 15,000 yuan a year.
