China Business Intelligence Network News: According to the database of the China Business Industry Research Institute, China's logs and sawn timber imports in April 2024 were 6.304 million cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 0.1%; From January to April, the cumulative import volume of logs and sawn timber from the mainland was 21.864 million cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 0.3%.

In terms of value, China's imports of logs and sawn timber in April 2024 were US$1,352.5 million, flat year-on-year, and the cumulative import value of logs and sawn timber from the mainland from January to April was US$4,517.6 million, down 0.9% year-on-year.
