In 2023, Yunnan will add 15.144GW of new PV capacity, ranking second in the country, and 737MW of distributed PV capacity, a year-on-year increase of nearly 467%, of which industrial and commercial PV will account for 86.4%. The proportion of industrial and commercial photovoltaic installed capacity has increased significantly, and the development momentum of distributed photovoltaic is strong. In the first quarter of 2024, Yunnan Province will add 1.987GW of PV to the grid, of which 353MW will be distributed, accounting for 17.77%.
