Designed for the returning hostess, the residence subtly incorporates three natural elements, seashells, emerald and amber, into the form, colour and detail of the design, paying homage to the unique charm of the Oriental woman and creating a warm and comfortable living environment.

The overall design follows the main line of the owner's life from abroad to home, and reinterprets the traditional oriental materials in an original and modern way. The introduction of screens inspired by banana fans (a traditional Shanghai cultural element) and wall protection panels decorated with reliefs of Shikumen architecture (a traditional Shanghai architectural style) show a deep cultural significance and evoke emotional resonance among the residents. In terms of craftsmanship and materials, the designers have retained the characteristics of traditional materials, while using modern materials such as Burmese teak and hand-chiseled stone interspersed with crystal glass, thus enhancing the uniqueness and high quality of the entire new aesthetic home space.

The choice of seashells, jadeite, and amber materials further adds personality and innovation to the design, celebrating the timelessness, gentleness, and perseverance of women. Among them, the master bedroom door panel and the bedside back panel cleverly combine three types of wood to create a unique wavy shape, reminiscent of the details of the seashell edge, symbolizing calm, purity and sincerity; The large jade-coloured persimmon calyx pattern and jade-coloured sculpture on the floor of the entrance hall represent harmony, elegance and balance; The dark floral pattern on the brass front door is inspired by the mottled texture of amber in the sun, conveying warmth and optimism, and these elements work together to create a unique space that is "soft but not broken, tough and powerful".
