In the novel, Shangri-La is portrayed as a distant, mysterious, beautiful place that represents peace, tranquility, and paradise on earth. The natural scenery of Daocheng Aden is indeed in line with people's imagination of Shangri-La. With majestic snow-capped mountains, crystal clear lakes, vast meadows, dense forests and rushing waterfalls, the scenery varies from season to season. 2. Tagong grassland
Tagong Grassland is a beautiful plateau grassland in Ganzi, Sichuan, with an altitude of about 3,700 meters and an area of about 3,000 square kilometers, making it one of the most famous grasslands in Ganzi Prefecture. Known for its unique architecture and sheer size, Larung Gar is known as the "largest Buddhist college in the world". The buildings of Larung Gar are predominantly red and spread throughout the valley, forming a spectacular ensemble. The institute has thousands of houses, dozens of temples and halls, and tens of thousands of monks and nuns.
