The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to develop the marine economy, protect the marine ecological environment, accelerate the construction of a maritime power, and strengthen the construction of a marine security system. As a key field in the construction of a maritime power, deep-sea development is facing the challenges of complex and changeable underwater environmental factors, and deep-sea underwater technology and equipment have become the key support for understanding the deep sea, developing deep-sea resources, safeguarding marine rights and interests, and protecting marine ecology, and it is necessary to promote the innovation and development of the marine engineering technology and equipment industry. The Chinese Academy of Engineering has carried out the consulting projects of "Research on Deep-sea Equipment Technology System and Development Strategy" and "Research on Underwater Engineering Technology and Equipment and Industrial Chain Development Strategy", focusing on promoting the development of marine economy, grasping the initiative of marine strategy, and realizing the strategic goals of independent and controllable technology and equipment for underwater engineering and deep-sea resource development. It is necessary to systematically and comprehensively complete the research on equipment development, and form the overall development ideas, key points of technical research, and engineering application suggestions for mainland underwater engineering, deep-sea equipment, and deep-sea scientific research.
Food safety is an important part of the overall national security system, and promoting the development of agricultural engineering and food industry is a fundamental measure to improve the level of food safety. In recent years, the structure of food consumption among urban and rural residents in mainland China is undergoing profound changes, and the concept of food safety has shifted from "eating well" to "eating well" and "eating more nutritious and healthy", which has put forward new and higher requirements for food security. The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to establish a big food concept, develop facility agriculture, build a diversified food supply system, and improve the national food security capacity and national nutrition and health level. The Chinese Academy of Engineering organizes and carries out consulting projects on the national food security strategy, conservation tillage, emerging forest and grain characteristic industries, future food and biotechnology, etc., conducts in-depth research on the optimization of the layout of the mainland planting industry, the promotion of conservation tillage, and the development of emerging forest grains, actively explores the expansion of new protein supply, and the improvement of agricultural production technologies and standards, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions in a targeted manner, so as to provide suggestions and suggestions for solving food safety and nutrition and health problems, and promote the implementation of national strategies such as cultivated land protection, grain storage on the ground, and grain storage in technology. Promote the transformation and upgrading of the entire agricultural industry chain, and improve the high-quality development level of modern agriculture in the mainland.
