On May 12th, the Huangpu District Parent-Child Garden sponsored by the Huangpu District Working Committee of the Shanghai Taiwan Association was held in Yu Garden, a famous cultural landmark in Shanghai. More than 30 families from Shanghai and Taiwan participated in the garden party and experienced interesting sign-in, Hanfu dress-up, traditional handicrafts and other wonderful links.
This event is full of fun. Families from Shanghai and Taiwan came to Jiuqu Bridge, the main gate of Yu Garden Garden, Nanxiang Steamed Bun Shop, Ningbo Tangyuan Shop, Lao Miao Golden Silver Building - Good Luck Tree, Tong Han Chun Hall, City God Temple Mazu Statue, Qiaoke Qiaokou Museum and Songhe Tower and other iconic locations in Yu Garden.
In particular, two hidden quest points were set up in the event – Tong Han Chun Hall and the Mazu Statue of the City God Temple, which brought additional surprises and challenges to the participants in the form of quiz games and flying flower orders.
Finally, the parent-child photo session pushed the activity to a climax.
"This is the second time we have participated, and today we specially brought children here to experience traditional Chinese culture together, which is very meaningful!" As a Taiwanese businessman, Yang Zhihua of Shanghai Haoledi Catering and Entertainment Co., Ltd. has been in Shanghai for 30 years and has been deeply involved in Huangpu District. This time, he took his wife and son to participate in the event, and the family of three put on traditional Hanfu and swam in Yu Garden.
The success of the parent-child garden party not only left unforgettable memories for the participants, but also built a bridge for cross-strait cultural exchanges, showing the charm and values of traditional Chinese culture. The happy atmosphere and the in-depth experience of traditional culture made every guest feel the height, depth and temperature of the city of Shanghai.
The Huangpu District Working Committee of the Municipal Taiwan Association said that the culture of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait has the same roots, the same culture, and the same species, and the traditional culture is the root and bridge of cross-strait exchanges.
