On the occasion of the 113th International Nurses Day, the School of Medicine of Huanghuai University held a theatrical evening of "Medical and Education Synergy to Promote Development and Continue the New Chapter of Struggle" on the evening of May 10 to celebrate the International Nurses Day on May 12. The leaders of Huanghuai University, the directly affiliated Zhumadian Central Hospital, the 990th Hospital of the PLA Joint Logistics Support Force, the Zhumadian Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the First People's Hospital of Zhumadian City, as well as the heads of relevant functional departments of the school and all teachers and students of the School of Medicine watched the party together.
The party kicked off with the energetic opening dance "Youth Future", which instantly ignited the enthusiasm of the audience. The evening program was wonderful, the national flag guard's heroic demeanor display "Steel Gun Rose", the inspirational song "Jiangshan" and "Change Yourself", the elegant and moving dance "Stilts" and "Shangchun Mountain", and the humorous cross talk "Miscellaneous Singing" won applause from the audience. The erhu ensemble "War Horse Galloping" pushed the party to a climax with its passionate melody and exquisite skills, inspiring Huanghuai students to move forward bravely and surpass themselves on the road of chasing their dreams.
A group of nursing students who are about to embark on the road of clinical practice raised their right hands and solemnly swore under the witness of the directors of the nursing departments of the directly affiliated hospitals and teaching hospitals of the school and the teachers of the medical school, to take over the lamp symbolizing the spirit of Nightingale from the hands of their predecessors, and also to take over the responsibility and mission of inheriting and carrying forward the nursing career. Their vows are sonorous and powerful, and they embody their commitment and determination to this noble profession.
In the performances of "Youth Show" and "Ordinary Angel", the teachers and students presented the youthful, beautiful and elegant professional demeanor of the angels in white through beautiful appearance, correct attitude, cordial language and elegant manners, and showed the professional quality and professional image of nursing staff to the audience.
The party ended successfully in the chorus "Nurse's Song". The whole party not only showed the good style and professional skills of contemporary nursing students, but also interpreted their glorious mission and responsibility. The theme of this year's 5.12 Nurses' Day in mainland China is "Developing the Nurse Team and Optimizing Nursing Services", and the School of Medicine of Huanghuai University will take this opportunity to work together with the directly affiliated hospitals and teaching hospitals to contribute youth strength to Healthy China, Healthy Central Plains and Healthy Zhumadian, and jointly write a new chapter in the development of nursing.
