——Zhumadian Experimental Primary School won the third place in the Provincial Campus Basketball Federation

From May 10th to 12th, the Henan Provincial Campus Basketball League (Primary School Group) and the 2023-2024 Li Ning China Primary School Basketball League (Henan Division) Trials were held at the Sanmenxia International Cultural Expo City Convention and Exhibition Center. The little athletes of Zhumadian Experimental Primary School, who participated in the competition on behalf of Zhumadian City for the first time, were not afraid of strong opponents, fought tenaciously, and won the third place in one fell swoop.
The competition was hosted by the Henan Provincial Department of Education, undertaken by the Sanmenxia Municipal Education Bureau, and co-organized by the Sanmenxia Municipal Sports Bureau and the Sanmenxia Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism. The competition set up two age groups, U12 men's group and U12 women's group, and was launched in the form of a full-court 5-on-5 competition, attracting more than 400 athletes, coaches and technicians from 28 teams from 18 provinces and municipalities.
On the final field, the opposing players competed for each other, with high morale, and launched round after round of fierce attacks. The players won the warm applause of the audience with their superb skills, and the cheers, shouts, gongs and drums came and went, pushing the game to a climax again and again. In the course of the game, the players showed their morale, fighting spirit and level, and every game made everyone feel the charm of the competitive game and the tenacious struggle of the players, as well as the unremitting sportsmanship. The athletes carried forward the Olympic spirit, united and cooperated closely, dribbling, passing, shooting, stealing, and rebounding, fully demonstrating the charm and youthful demeanor of basketball.
After 3 days of fierce competition, in the end, the first Zhumadian Experimental Primary School team won the third place in the U12 men's group and advanced to the 2024 Li-Ning • China Henan Division.
