Some of the above areas are accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation (maximum hourly rainfall of 20 to 50 mm, locally more than 60 mm), and local severe convective weather such as thunderstorms, strong winds or hail.
Among them, from 8 o'clock on May 13 to 8 o'clock on the 14th, there was moderate to heavy rain in parts of eastern Yunnan, southeastern and southwestern coasts, Hainan Island, northern Taiwan Island and other places, among them, there was heavy rain (50 to 90 mm) in the eastern part of Hainan Island. In the next 10 days, the Huanghuai will have more sunny and hot weather, the rainfall is significantly less than that of the same period in normal years, and the meteorological drought will continue to develop, with 3 to 8 days of high temperature of 35 to 38 °C in the Xinjiang Basin, and the local maximum temperature can reach 39 to 41 °C. From the 14th to the 17th to the 20th, there will be dry and hot winds in Huanghuai and southern North China.
