The reporter learned from the Sixth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation on May 11 that the mainland's first 100-kilogram vehicle-mounted liquid hydrogen system "Track 1000", independently developed by the 101 Institute of the Institute, was released in Beijing a few days ago. This product is one of the core equipment of liquid hydrogen heavy trucks, which will help hydrogen heavy trucks exceed 1,000 kilometers of driving range, which is a major technological breakthrough in the application of liquid hydrogen in the field of transportation by Continental.
It is reported that the system adopts the forward design and modular concept, and through the deep optimization and integration of the storage, supply and processing process, five modules of liquid hydrogen cylinder, valve box, vaporization buffer, control and load-bearing structure are constructed.
Compared with the previous generation of products, the effective volume of the "Track 1000" has increased by 20%, the hydrogen carrying capacity has been increased to 100 kilograms, the mass hydrogen storage density of liquid hydrogen cylinders has reached 12%, and the hydrogen storage density of the overall system has exceeded 10%. Through the design of product price limit, optimization of manufacturing process, and strengthening of supply chain management, the cost of the product is significantly reduced, and the cost is expected to be further greatly reduced after mass production.
