Is Japanese food expensive in India? A piece of sushi can't afford to eat, and how much does it cost in the end

On that day, a few friends and I decided to go to India to try Japanese food. The idea stemmed from a casual conversation where one of our friends excitedly shared what she had recently tasted at a newly opened Japanese restaurant while we were talking about exotic food. Our interest in Japanese food was ignited, and we decided to explore this seemingly distant but close food culture together.

On a sunny weekend, we came to a Japanese restaurant in India called "Sakura Japanese Restaurant". Located in the heart of the city's bustling business district, this restaurant is buzzing with laughter and the sound of car horns. There is a sign in front of the restaurant that reads "Japanese style, pure taste", which attracts the attention of many passers-by.

As soon as we entered, we were fascinated by the décor and ambiance of the store. Traditional Japanese kimonos hang on the walls, delicate Japanese tea sets are placed in the corners, and murals depicting Mt. Fuji are displayed. The whole space has a strong Japanese atmosphere, as if you are in a corner of Japan.

Once seated, we couldn't wait to flip through the menu. We were dazzled by tempting Japanese dishes such as sushi, sashimi, and grilled fish on the menu. We decided to order a sushi platter, a grilled fish set, and some snacks as an appetizer. The waiter smiled and took our order, gently asking if we needed to recommend some special dishes.

Time seemed to freeze and we enjoyed the tranquility of the restaurant while we waited for our food. The soft music and faint aroma of tea in the store create a laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel as if you are in another world.

After a while, the delicacies were served one after another. Sushi platters are neatly arranged, with colorful sushi rolls and fresh sashimi exuding tantalizing aromas; The grilled fish set is served with a light and delicious soup and rich side dishes, each of which is mouth-watering. We excitedly took pictures and then couldn't wait to start enjoying the feast.

When I took the first bite of sushi, I was amazed by the delicate texture and delicious taste. The sushi rice is fluffy and sticky, and it is served with fresh seafood, which is simply a treat on the tip of the tongue. The grilled fish is also grilled just right, the meat is tender and juicy, and it is especially delicious with a special sauce.

However, just as we were immersed in the food, the time to check out caught us a little off guard. We all know that Japanese food is considered a luxury item in India, but when we actually see the numbers on the bill, we are still a little surprised. Even though we didn't order the most expensive dish, the total cost should not be underestimated.

"It's... Why is this bill so much? One of the friends couldn't help but complain.

"It may be that we order more dishes, and the Japanese food is already relatively high-end." I'm trying to explain it to everyone.

Although we are a little surprised by consumption, we have no regrets in our hearts. This sumptuous Japanese meal allowed us to appreciate the gastronomic charm of different cultures, and also added to the friendship and memories between us.

After eating, we decided to go to the nearby museum. The museum is a well-known cultural attraction in the area, showcasing a rich collection of history and art. We walked around the exhibition hall, admiring ancient sculptures, exquisite ceramics and traditional paintings, and felt the precipitation of history and cultural heritage.

When we were tired of strolling, we took a break at the café near the museum. The café here is elegantly decorated and the environment is quiet, coinciding with afternoon tea time, and the faint fragrance of tea wafts through the store. We ordered a pot of hot tea and some snacks and enjoyed a leisurely time while sipping tea and chatting.

During this culinary adventure, we not only tasted the delicious taste of Japanese food, but also got a taste of the local culture. Although the consumption is higher, it is all worth it. The beauty of life is not only about material comforts, but also about exploring, feeling and sharing with friends.
