In terms of the sales list of car companies in April, the sales of joint venture brands such as Japanese and German brands generally fell sharply, and only domestic car companies bucked the trend and soared.

In terms of brands, BYD sold 254,131 units in April, ranking first among domestic automakers, up 31.1% year-on-year, expanding its market share to 16.6%.

FAW-Volkswagen sold 119,032 units in April, ranking second, down 15.6% year-on-year, further widening the gap with BYD's sales, which is less than one-half of BYD's.

Geely Automobile ranked third, with 115,723 units sold in April, up 31.2% year-on-year, and only a gap of just over 3,000 units from FAW-Volkswagen.

Changan Automobile sold 82,630 units in April, ranking fourth, down 17.9% year-on-year, and was the only domestic automaker in the top 10 to see a decline in sales.

Chery Automobile ranked fifth with 79,456 sales of 79,456 units, a year-on-year increase of 59.8%, and it was also the car company with the largest growth rate in the list.

As for the sixth to tenth places, they are SAIC Volkswagen, GAC Toyota, Dongfeng Nissan, FAW Toyota, BMW Brilliance and other Japanese and German joint venture brands.

Among them, GAC Toyota's sales fell by 32.1%, the largest decline in the list, and FAW Toyota's sales also fell by 31.3%.
