On the morning of May 10, with the full cooperation of personnel and equipment of all parties, after 48 hours of ro-ro, two sets of monopiles of the Hainan CZ2 offshore wind power demonstration project undertaken by Guangxi Wenchuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. were successfully shipped in the Qinzhou port area. This marks the successful completion and delivery of the first batch of products of the first offshore wind power monopile project produced and manufactured by Qinzhou Marine Equipment Enterprise.
The Hainan CZ2 Offshore Wind Power Demonstration Project is the first batch of offshore wind power projects approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period in Hainan Province, the first batch of offshore wind power projects in China based on BIM data, supported by artificial intelligence, and realize intelligent management of the whole life cycle. Guangxi Wenchuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. undertook the manufacturing, processing and loading and transportation of 12 sets of monopiles, cages and inner platforms of the project, with a total volume of 24,000 tons.
It is understood that the project is the first monopile project undertaken and delivered by Guangxi Wenchuan Heavy Industry since the trial production, of which the largest one is 108 meters long, 9.1 meters in diameter, 77 to 93 mm thick, and the single weight is 1,900 tons; The smaller one is 90.8 m long, 8.5 m in diameter, 77 to 85 mm thick, and weighs 1,500 tonnes each.
Huang Dan, deputy general manager of Guangxi Wenchuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., said that the construction and shipment of the two sets of monopiles proved that Qinzhou has large-scale offshore equipment manufacturing capacity, and also filled the gap of large-scale offshore wind power equipment in Guangxi, laying a solid foundation for the company to further develop the overseas wind power market. In the future, the company will make full use of its advantages, seek new breakthroughs and achieve new leaps, continue to deepen the R&D and manufacturing of offshore wind power equipment, and launch the brand of Wenchuan Heavy Industry.
