When we need to design assembly files, we usually use SOLIDWORKS to set up fits for components, interference checks, etc. If you need to animate an explosion, you need to use the explosion view feature in SOLIDWORKS. However, exporting the video (MP4, AVI, etc.) directly generated through the exploded view of SOLIDWORKS is inconvenient and the operability and effect are not good.
Today, we will explain to you that through SOLIDWORKS Composer, you only need a few simple settings and basic operations to achieve better animation videos, let's talk about two ways↓
Way 1
Step 1
Select Render, change the mode to Smooth Rendering (with outline), change the outline style to sharp edges (to eliminate unnecessary edges), and change the lighting style to heavy metal. The first step of rendering is done.
Step 2
Use the explosion function in the transformation, select the spherical explosion, drag the model to explode, and play the animation to get the corresponding explosion effect.
Way two
For assemblies with a large number of parts, the explosion of mode 1 is problematic and easier to pierce.
The second way is to move the model parts to the corresponding position one by one through the ordinary movement in Composer, which is not easy to wear the mold and is relatively more beautiful.
Step 3
To let others know clearly where the parts are installed, the "explosion line" is essential, directly add the "explosion line" to the component, and then select "Author", →"path", → "create the association path of neutral elements".
Step 4
Click Author → Label to add a description for each component, and if necessary, to attach a text note below the assembly.
Step 5
Finally, through the video of the workshop, the output of the video can be used.
