Driver's license validity
The validity period of a motor vehicle driver's license is divided into 6 years, 10 years, and long-term. There is a clear endorsement on the driver's license.
● The initial driver's license is valid for 6 years.
● If the motor vehicle driver does not have 12 points in each demerit period within the 6-year validity period of the driver's license, the 10-year valid motor vehicle driver's license will be reissued.
● Within the 10-year validity period of the motor vehicle driver's license, if 12 points are not recorded in each demerit period, the long-term valid motor vehicle driver's license will be reissued.
Know in advance
1. Application conditions:
(1) The driver's license traffic violation has been handled;

(3) If the applicant is over 70 years old, he or she shall complete the memory, judgment and reaction ability tests according to the regulations before handling the business.
2. Processing time:
The renewal of the driver's license can be processed within 90 days before the expiration date.
3. The following situations need to be distinguished:
(1) Within one year (inclusive) overdue: You can directly apply for the renewal of the certificate upon expiration.

(3) Overdue for more than three years: the driver's license will be cancelled, and you need to retake the driver's license test to obtain a new driver's license.
