Announcement of the results of the evaluation of the fifth batch of national museums and the evaluation of first-class museums
In accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Museum Regulations" and the "Measures for the Evaluation of Museum Classification" (December 2019), the Chinese Museums Association has completed the evaluation of the fifth batch of first-class museums in the national museum classification evaluation.
Units and individuals who have objections to the content of the announcement can report to the Secretariat of the Chinese Museums Association in writing. The reflection must be factual and provide supporting materials for the problems reflected. If it is reflected in the name of the unit, it shall be stamped with the official seal of the unit; If the report is made in the name of an individual, the real name, work unit, mailing address and contact information should be signed so as to facilitate the verification of the relevant information.

The total collection of Linqu County Museum is more than 99,000 pieces (groups). With a construction area of 26,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 9,300 square meters, it has 11 permanent exhibitions and 2 temporary exhibition halls such as Linqu General History, Buddhist Statues, Folk Memory, Red Culture, Shanwang Fossils, etc., which is a comprehensive museum integrating exhibition, education, collection, research and utilization.
Shanwang fossils were formed in the Mesoceene of the Cenozoic Neogene 18 million years ago, and are famous for their large number, rich phyla and exquisite intact, and have found more than 700 genera and species of more than a dozen phyla, which is known as "the history of ten thousand volumes of stone, the treasure of the country", and has extremely high academic and research value. The Shanwang Fossil AR digital interactive experience area is very interesting and technological, bringing a strong sense of presence and participation to the experiencer through the integration of sound, text and special effects.
