Open to the public from 7 to 18 May, the exhibition showcases more than 200 works by more than 100 outstanding contemporary Chinese artists, including more than 30 Chinese intangible cultural heritage masters showcasing the long history and profound heritage of Chinese culture in the form of colorful works.

Among them, the "bamboo plum blossom mirror" created by Zhao Sijin, the inheritor of Daoming bamboo weaving in Chongzhou, was selected among them.

As the representative inheritor of Daoming bamboo weaving, Zhao Sijin expanded the inheritance team, studied and improved bamboo weaving skills while "teaching by word and deed", and also jointly compiled "Daoming Bamboo Weaving" with Peking University and other institutions, turning the "word of mouth" master's craft into an operation model of "pictures and texts", writing local cultural skills into Peking University's teaching courses and auxiliary teaching materials, and exploring the innovative path of extending and expanding traditional crafts to discipline construction.
Nowadays, Chongzhou adheres to the concept of "living inheritance and quality improvement", introduces the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the Australian Bamboo Industry Research Institute and other institutes, builds the traditional craft workstation of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the Sino-British creative design laboratory and other platforms, establishes long-term cooperative relations with 40 cultural and creative design institutions, and forms the Park City and Rural Expression Designer Alliance, so that the bamboo weaving culture in the countryside has stepped onto the international art stage.
