Bamboo weaving is a traditional craft with a long history, the crystallization of the wisdom of the working people of the Chinese nation, and the handicraft of turning decay into magic. During the event, Master Chen used his bamboo weaving works as an introduction to launch a vivid lecture on the theme of bamboo weaving. He introduced the historical origin, production process and cultural inheritance of bamboo weaving in simple terms, and led the children to appreciate the unique charm of bamboo weaving art.

It is gratifying that in the lecture, everyone watched the whole process of weaving small fish with bamboo strips demonstrated by Master Chen himself. I saw that he was skillful, and the bamboo strips flew in his hands, and after a while, a lively little fish appeared in front of everyone's eyes, so that the children could not take their eyes off it, and from time to time they made exclamations.

Master Chen also paid special attention to the hands-on ability of the students, and in the interactive session, in the art classroom, he also personally guided more than 20 students to weave "peace charms" with bamboo strips. Under the careful guidance of Master Chen, the children will weave different colors of bamboo strips with a cross weaving method, learn to pick and press, a simple and a sticky, after a while, a decent bamboo strip "peace charm" was born in the hands of the children, the students' faces are filled with the joy of success, feel the mystery of bamboo weaving and the charm of intangible cultural heritage.

The activity of intangible cultural heritage masters entering the campus not only allowed the children of Xincheng Primary School to witness the unique charm of bamboo weaving art with their own eyes, but also allowed the intangible cultural heritage to sprout new sprouts in the campus and opened the splendid flowers of intangible cultural heritage inheritance.

In the future work, we will regularly or irregularly invite intangible cultural heritage experts to the school to give lectures and inherit more intangible cultural heritage classics, so as to cultivate children to understand and cherish intangible cultural heritage from an early age, and be an excellent student who loves traditional Chinese culture.
