Among them, the DIY activity of Chunyun paper kite held by the Dongtang Neighborhood Committee is particularly eye-catching. The activity not only allowed the participants to feel the fun of making paper kites, but also deeply appreciated the long history and unique development of kites, an intangible cultural heritage of the mainland, in the explanation of expert teachers. In particular, the genre of "Kite Wei" has an outstanding position in China's intangible cultural heritage. The Nanzhao Lane Neighborhood Committee organized residents to carry out DIY activities of handmade hats. Under the patient guidance of professional teachers, the residents mastered the traditional techniques of fan weaving step by step, from fixing the bamboo strips to following the weaving rules of picking two and pressing two, and then to cutting the fan surface and installing the fan handle, the whole process is not only the inheritance and learning of traditional skills, but also a test of patience and skill. When a delicate handmade bamboo fan was presented in front of them, the residents were amazed by the exquisite and elegant traditional folk handicraft skills, and also deeply felt the profound heritage of intangible cultural heritage.
