On May 6, the first Tofu Cultural Festival of Xinyingzi Town, Tuoketuo County, sponsored by the County Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau and Xinyingzi Town, was held in the courtyard of Yashengnong By-product Processing Cooperative located in Yanshanying Village, Xinyingzi Town.
The first Tofu Cultural Festival of Xinyingzi Town, Tuoxian County, took the excavation of intangible cultural heritage as the main line, with the theme of "Wuquan Tofu Fragrance and New Food in the Clouds", and the "Tian Cuisine" green food and intangible cultural heritage products as the main body of the activity.
The event site was divided into theatrical performances, "Internet celebrity" check-in sour tofu, tofu making experience workshop, interesting interaction, tofu banquet, "tofu culture" publicity column, agricultural and sideline products exhibition and other sections, and tourists from all over the world had an immersive experience. A variety of special tofu dishes and snacks cooked by well-known local and surrounding chefs using tofu as ingredients, such as soybean milk, shallots mixed with tofu, pig-killing vegetables, tofu balls, Tuoxian noodle soup, mutton stewed tofu, fish stewed tofu, etc., attracted a large number of people to come to taste.
Speaking of Tuoxian tofu, it can be said that it is famous and well-known. Tuoxian tofu production adheres to the concept of natural, green and healthy, the raw materials are large black beans with long growth cycle and high nutritional value, and the traditional technology of more than 200 years is finely ground and filtered into soybean milk. In the production process, no brine, gypsum and any additives are added, and the original taste of tofu is maintained. The two major tofu brands of Tiancai and Heishuiquan are both from Xinyingzi Town, and the production skills of Tiancai tofu have been included in the municipal intangible cultural heritage.
Small tofu, big industry, Toketuo County tofu is favored by consumers for its excellent quality, and at the same time, it also promotes the development of the local tofu industry and drives the pace of rural revitalization.
Founded in March 2015, Tuoketuo County Yasheng Agricultural By-product Processing Farmers Professional Cooperative is an integrated demonstration base for planting, deep processing and sales. In 2018, after the audit of the China Green Food Development Center, the Tiancai ® brand sour tofu produced and processed by the cooperative met the national green food A-level standard and was recognized as a green food A-level product. At present, the "Tiancai-Tuoxian Sour Berry Tofu" produced by our cooperative is sold in major supermarkets and community stores in Hohshi, Baotou, Xuejiawan and other places every day, and is deeply loved by consumers, so that the green and healthy "intangible cultural heritage food" can enter the homes of ordinary people.
