In order to conscientiously implement the spirit of the "Notice of the General Office of the China Disabled Persons' Federation on Doing a Good Job in the 2024 National Survey on the Income of Disabled Persons", the Fangcheng County Disabled Persons' Federation has scientifically obtained data on the household income of persons with disabilities and the annual monitoring and evaluation data of the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Protection and Development of Persons with Disabilities", actively promoted the reform of the income distribution system, and done a good job in promoting the comprehensive development and common prosperity of persons with disabilities. On May 6, Fangcheng County launched the 2024 survey on the household income of persons with disabilities.
According to the unified deployment of the China Disabled Persons' Federation, 189 disabled families in Fangcheng County were selected for investigation this year, involving 19 township streets. The Fangcheng County Disabled Persons' Federation attaches great importance to the investigation, carefully formulates the work plan, and holds a special meeting and training meeting on the investigation of the family income of the disabled in Fangcheng County, clarifying the work responsibilities, and the investigation is led by the Fangcheng County Disabled Persons' Federation, led by team members, and 12 business backbones and 19 township (street) accompaniment specialists of the Fangcheng County Disabled Persons' Federation are dispatched, which are divided into 6 groups at the same time. The survey includes three parts: the basic situation of the disabled, the income and expenditure of households, and the social assistance and policy-based living subsidies for the disabled, aiming to comprehensively understand and grasp the income and expenditure of the disabled families and the enjoyment of social assistance and policy subsidies.
The investigation team overcame many unfavorable conditions such as tight time, hot weather, and scattered residences of the survey subjects, and carefully checked the household registration booklets, ID cards, disability certificates, low guarantees, and social security cards of the disabled families from door to door, carefully inquired about the production and living conditions, family income and expenditure, education, employment, and policy enjoyment, and physical health of the survey subjects, patiently listened to the voices of the disabled, answered the questions of the disabled in a timely manner, and talked heart-to-heart in the way of visiting relatives. This survey not only comprehensively understood the changes in the income and expenditure of the disabled families, strengthened communication with the disabled, publicized the national policy of benefiting the disabled and helping the disabled, but also provided an accurate basis for the next step of special services for the disabled, improved the pertinence and effectiveness of services for the disabled, and laid a solid foundation for promoting the high-quality development of the disabled in Fangcheng County.
