Dvorak created it in 1894. He was on vacation in his native Resoka region of the Czech Republic, during which he wrote eight "humorous pieces" in a row, all of which were solo piano pieces. Dvořák's piano solos, including various dance pieces, are about eighty, but only this "Humor Song" is widely circulated and deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
Humor song is a song written about a clown. Dvořák saw a clown, which was hilarious on the surface and caused people to laugh, but in the place where the audience could not see, he was crying alone. Therefore, the first part of the humor song is cheerful and lively, jumping easily, and the second half becomes deep and sad, like an indictment, which is the inner description of the clown.
