defeated the opponent 3:0 for 4 consecutive games, and Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha won the WTT Saudi Arabia Grand Slam mixed doubles championship with an undeniable advantage late at night Beijing time. From the inaugural Singapore Grand Slam held in 2022 to the newly born Saudi Arabia Grand Slam, in the past three seasons, Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha have won the Saudi Grand Slam mixed doubles crown on the basis of achieving three consecutive mixed doubles titles in the Singapore Grand Slam, and have created an astonishing record of 16 victories in the first four tournaments. Especially in the Saudi Arabia competition, the "Shatou" combination defeated the opponent 3:0 and showed an incomparable advantage in the mixed doubles field.

In March 2022, WTT's first Grand Slam tournament was held in Singapore, and until the Saudi Grand Slam was born, the tournament was the only Grand Slam tournament in international table tennis. In the first two competitions, Fan Zhendong, Fan Zhendong/Wang Chuqin, Sun Yingsha/Wang Manyu, and Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha achieved two consecutive championships in men's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles respectively. In the third Singapore Grand Slam held in March this year, Fan Zhendong and Fan Zhendong/Wang Chuqin failed to defend their titles, Sun Yingsha did not participate in the women's doubles competition, and only Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha had the last laugh in the mixed doubles field among the first two consecutive champions.

On 7 May, Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha qualified for the mixed doubles at the Paris Olympics with their outstanding results over the past year. On the evening of the 9th, they once again proved their outstanding strength in the mixed doubles field by achieving four consecutive Grand Slam championships and created new glories.

The mixed doubles table tennis was an Olympic event at the Tokyo Olympics and was won by Japan's Mizutani Hayabusa/Mimato Ito, who have yet to win the mixed doubles title at the World Championships or win a Grand Slam. Two months later, if the "Shatou" pair can reach the championship podium, they will become the first mixed doubles pair in history to win the mixed doubles championship of the Olympic Games and the World Table Tennis Championships, plus the four consecutive Grand Slam championships, they will create a miracle in the history of world table tennis.

At present, Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha are only one step away from this great cause, and they are looking forward to a miracle this summer.
