The third point is that battery storage itself is consumed. Everyone knows that energy is conserved and matter is immortal. When you convert energy in a new way, the process itself is a drain. Therefore, when we release the battery of the tram as the driving force of the car, the energy consumption of this itself is increased, not decreased.
Fourth, whether our current batteries are fully safe remains to be demonstrated. Because our batteries are all battery packs, it is a combination of several small batteries into one large battery block. Each small battery is no problem if it is fully qualified or of good quality. But if our battery manufacturer doesn't do a good job in any detail, it is prone to problems with the battery. If there is a problem with one battery, there will be a problem with one battery pack. Most of us are new tram users, so we can't see it yet. If it takes a long time, this problem will appear one after another. In this way, you may have a higher accident rate with an electric car than with a gasoline vehicle. I don't say necessarily, at least it is possible.
The last question is, once the battery is used or has to be scrapped, how to deal with it is environmentally friendly? The situation as far as I know it now is that there is no perfect solution, so it is entirely possible that the disposal of batteries in the future will bring new environmental pressures. Because of the seven or eight possible problems we talked about above, then the conclusion reached is definitely not the only conclusion, the battery is better, this conclusion cannot be reached. What do I think is the real new energy of the future? Energy that has nothing to do with all current energy sources is a new energy source. For example, some countries are researching hydrogen energy, and I think this is new energy.
In fact, we have not really developed the real new energy yet, so the current trams are selling quickly with the spring breeze of new energy, which I think is an inappropriate change.
Of course, the expert's words should be listened to, but the expert has multiple loopholes and logical errors in this video, and the strategic planning gunner can't help but complain.

Overall, the pollution of the earth from electricity generation is also controllable. But if the city is full of fuel vehicles, the air quality is significantly different.
The third point of controversy is that he said that the energy consumption of trams has increased, but we must understand that the energy of the earth itself is enough for human use, just like water, why advocate water conservation? It's not that there isn't enough water on the planet, it's that human beings have the capacity to manage water at a high cost. Therefore, we should not just calculate the increase in energy consumption from the surface, the energy consumption balance is the more correct choice.
As for the battery safety he said, first of all, I want to explain that the annual spontaneous combustion accidents of new energy vehicles are actually far lower than that of fuel vehicles, but the media is keen to report the spontaneous combustion of electric vehicles, and deliberately does not report the spontaneous combustion of fuel vehicles, which is the subjective bias of the media! Moreover, behind the development of China's new energy vehicle technology is the development of three-electric technology, manufacturers and scientific research institutions have invested a lot of money in research and development, which solves problems such as battery life and safety. For example, like the solid-state battery that everyone has been talking about, the main thing is safety and long battery life, recently there was news that a company in Chongqing has made a major breakthrough, if it can be really applied to the market, it is expected that the battery life can reach 2000 kilometers, and according to the relevant information, the probability of fire and explosion of solid-state batteries is almost zero.
At the end of the video, he also mentioned hydrogen energy, which is not actually being developed by some countries, but by China. China has also built a lot of hydrogen stations for hydrogen refueling, but it is still difficult to popularize to home users, the main reason is that the cost of hydrogen production is very high, and the safety is actually difficult to guarantee, so Japan's Toyota hydrogen energy project has been difficult to land, and basically admits failure.
But this expert is still talking about hydrogen fuel, which is obviously incomplete information. But I don't think he's a technical expert after all, he's just a management expert, but it's normal to talk about areas that he's not good at, and it's normal that there are many loopholes. Of course, I'm not an expert in technology, but I do know more than he does. New energy vehicles are a national strategy, and I really hope that some people will stop being self-righteous, hardening the national strategy, and doing something that misleads the country and the people.
