Sadly, Jason Houghton, the famous British "Big Mac", died on April 27 at the age of 34, but at this time he weighed a staggering 50 stone (about 317 kilograms)! This news undoubtedly shocked everyone, and what is even more regrettable is that the doctors have no choice but to watch the young giant come to the end of his life.

According to his mother, Leisa, Jason suffered greatly in the final stages of his life, receiving treatments such as kidney dialysis and intravenous drips, but his kidneys never functioned properly. Doctors told Jason that he might only have as little as a week to live due to severe organ failure. However, Jason's condition deteriorated rapidly and he eventually left this world.

Looking back at Jason's life, he has had many brushes with death. Back in 2014, he was even considered by doctors for a check-up because of blood clots and internal organ failure that caused swelling all over his body, because the hospital X-ray machine could not accommodate his massive body. Still, it didn't work out because of the cost.

Jason has been bedridden and unable to work since 2014, living entirely on social welfare payments, including employment support allowances and personal independence allowances. According to the coroner's report, organ failure and obesity were the main culprits in his death.

Later in his life, Jason could barely move and spent each day in bed. Due to his heavy weight, he often felt difficulty breathing. In October 2020, when he collapsed, a crane had to be used to lift him out of his mother's third-floor apartment, a thrilling rescue operation carried out by more than 30 firefighters and engineers.

Horton died in the hospital on April 27, just a week before his 34th birthday. He once confessed: "What scares me the most is the attention of the outside world. I've seen the movie "The Whale" and for me it's almost like a horror movie. I told my mom not to watch it, then turned off the TV and started crying. I cried and watched the movie and fell asleep. I know I'm the fattest guy in the UK and that's how people see me. ”

After Carl Thompson's death in 2015 at 65 stones, Jason became the heaviest man in the UK. He has publicly stated that his weight problems stem from mental health problems caused by bullying in his childhood, as well as the devastating loss of his father when he was three years old.

Jason witnessed his father's death at the age of three, an experience that left a deep shadow on him. Since then, he has developed a strong dependence on food, and every morning he can't wait to taste a variety of fast foods, even high-sugar carbonated drinks. The average adult needs about 2,500 calories a day, but he often eats more than 10,000 calories a day and spends as much as £10,000 a year.

Looking back, Jason said with emotion, "I wish someone could stop me from putting that food in my mouth." I just kept eating and eating. Lamb, cooked meat, I have an almost insane obsession with energy drinks. I just decided to buy 15 monster cans and drink them all in one sitting. I'm always trying to make a difference......"
