Preface
The hybridization between animals is not interfered with by humans, and there are racial distinctions between them, and some of them are difficult to have a relationship.
But you would never have imagined that macaques and deer would have cross-species "communication".
This incident was seen by a French scientist and photographed, only to see a Japanese macaque, actually riding on the back of a "deer".
The macaque is very skillful, but the deer does not resist, which shows that they have done this more than once or twice.
Will such cross-species exchanges cause undesirable repercussions?
Why do Japanese macaques behave so wildly?
The madness of the Japanese macaques
It is puzzling why Japanese macaques behave like sika deer, as macaques as primates have long been the subject of study by zoologists.
They have a higher level of intelligence than other animals, so sika deer are naturally the victims.
On this small island in Japan, the living space of animals is very limited, so Japanese macaques and sika deer live in the same place.
Living together will inevitably lead to conflicts due to foraging, and you must know that sika deer are herbivores, but Japanese macaques also eat the roots and stems of plants and fruits.
The two live in the same environment, and there will inevitably be some conflicts, but the peaceful coexistence of the macaque and the sika deer exceeded our expectations.
I saw that the Japanese macaques, who can climb trees, will throw the high fruits from the trees down, as if they are feeding the sika deer.
Sika deer, on the other hand, do not climb trees, so they can only follow the macaques and eat their leftovers or "feed" food.
Such harmonious behavior between the two will change subtly over time, and zoologists have found that macaques and sika deer sometimes have surprising behavior.
That is, the macaque will ride on the deer, treat the deer as a mount, and will also help catch lice on the sika deer, you must know that catching lice is a behavior between monkeys and their companions.
It is not difficult to see that the survival between the two is already very harmonious, and at this time, zoologists believe that the Japanese macaque has developed a harmonious survival relationship with the sika deer.
But as zoologists continue to follow up, things are far simpler than they think, because macaques actually do something indescribable on the back of a sika deer.
The macaque sitting on the back of the sika deer does not simply use the sika deer as a mount, but will do some sexual acts, and some sika deer will be very resistant and throw off the macaque on their backs.

Some will acquiesce to such a thing happening, and continue to bow their heads and eat the food on the ground, which is unheard of.
This kind of sex happens every day, sometimes for a minute or two, but for a long time it can be an hour or two.
If the sika deer resists and throws the macaque off at this time, then the macaque will scream angrily and its body will appear to be spasmodic.
Speaking of which, everyone would think that this was done by the male monkeys, but in fact it was the female monkeys who did the opposite.
They also have strict control when choosing sika deer with which they have a relationship, female sika deer are not good, and male sika deer who are not adult are not good, and adult male sika deer must be selected.
The macaque behaves like this to the sika deer, not really having a relationship with the sika deer, but using the sika deer's back to "practice sexual behavior".
Younger female macaques usually behave in this way, and they are smaller in size, so they are sometimes looked down upon by their male counterparts.
And because of their small size, if you have a relationship with a larger male macaque, it is likely to be dangerous.
Therefore, they will choose the back of the sika deer, probably because on the back of the sika deer, it will make them feel similar to the sexual behavior of macaques and stimulate the reproductive organs.
This kind of behavior only happens when the macaque is in heat, and it does not occur at other times.
In addition, macaques can even have sex with people of the same sex!

Macaques "gay"
Japanese macaques are social animals, and one of them will have a young, burly male monkey to become the monkey king, and there will be a small group of twenty or thirty individuals.
And there is a clear hierarchy in the monkey group, and at all times everything must be the leader first.
In some groups, there will be hundreds of macaques, which is because of the lack of food, and there will be more possibilities for survival when they are grouped together.
Among them, there will be many female macaques in estrus, there is no suitable mating partner, at this time, female macaques will actually have a relationship with the same sex.
Some of these behaviors are similar to those of sika deer, which are to stimulate the reproductive organs to seek pleasure.
Zoologists have counted that from November 2012 to January 2013, it was the estrus period of Japanese macaques, during which there were six female macaques who had relationships with each other.
Over the course of two months, the Japanese macaques of the same sex had a total of 67 sexual acts, similar to those of males when they rode behind.
Later studies found that female macaques seemed to be more willing to perform such maneuvers with sika deer.
From November 2014 to January 2015, during the estrus of the Japanese macaques, zoologists found that only 5 Japanese female macaques had 258 sexual acts with deer in these two months.
It can also be seen that female macaques are more loyal to the back of a deer.
This is also entirely because it is safer to perform such maneuvers with a buck, unlike the male macaques of their counterpart, which can cause harm to young female macaques.

epilogue
Japanese macaques will engage in this behavior with stags, partly to protect themselves, but also because they are in estrus and want to release them.
Female macaques are often rejected by male macaques of their own kind, which in turn leads to some psychological problems for female macaques.
Therefore, the rejected female macaque will be more willing to be loyal to the same sex, or to have sex with the back of the stag and release emotions.
