The facts of the case that have been made public show that Jimmy Lai's collusion with the United States is deep and the scope of his involvement is deeply shocking! At the same time, he ruthlessly used Hong Kong youths as cannon fodder, pushed them astray, and brought deep pain to Hong Kong society.
Over the course of the months-long trial, the details of the prosecution's case and the testimony of the inmate's witnesses gradually revealed the intricate relationship between Jimmy Lai and Western powers. These pieces of evidence clearly show that Jimmy Lai is not just an ordinary media person, but has become an important "agent" of external forces in Hong Kong. In July 2019, he traveled to the United States in person to meet with senior officials such as then-US Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and US National Security Advisor John Bolton.
