During the "May Day" holiday, the construction of the reconstruction and expansion project of the Shanghai-Rong Railway to Wuhan University Interchange Section (hereinafter referred to as the Huangxiao Highway) did not stop.
Huangxiao Highway is the backbone road of Wuhan Rail Transit Industry Innovation Base and part of the connection line of Tudian toll station of Wuhan University Expressway. Before the expansion, Huangxiao Highway was a secondary highway, with a roadbed width of 12 meters and an asphalt pavement width of 9 meters. In order to ensure the safety of vehicles entering and exiting the Tudian toll station and meet the travel needs of the masses along the line, Huangpi District has expanded Huangxiao Highway in accordance with the standard of first-class highway and urban main road, with two-way six lanes, and simultaneously built supporting facilities such as drainage, traffic safety, lighting, and landscaping.
At the construction site of the reconstruction and expansion of Huangxiao Highway, more than 10 builders were busy in their respective sections, carrying out the construction of roadbed roads and bridge structures, which was in full swing.
Pan Feipu, a technician of Huangxiao Highway Reconstruction and Expansion Project, said:
"During the 'May Day' period, we sent additional manpower and material support, and the construction did not stop, and the project progress was efficiently promoted. We will strictly control the quality of construction, create high-quality projects, and lay a solid foundation for the further improvement of the Huangpi transportation network system. ”
It is reported that the Huangxiao Highway Reconstruction and Expansion Project has a total length of 3.1 kilometers, starting from the Shanghai-Rong Railway and ending at Panchenwan, Jinzhai Village, Luohan Temple Street, Huangpi District. In order not to affect the existing road traffic and the production and life of the villagers, the reconstruction and expansion of Huangxiao Highway was carried out by paving the side road and half the construction method. After the completion of the project, it will further improve the transportation environment of the rail transit industry innovation base, enhance the efficiency of high-speed traffic in and out, and promote the integrated development of Huangpi industry and city.
